See if you always follow simple directions ~

    1. Hit Control + Alt + Delete keys all together ONCE

    2. In the window that pops up, click "systray" once to highlight it.

    3. Press the "e" on your keyboard

See if you can follow more detailed instructions ~

1. Open a new browser window

2. Enter or cut and paste the following URL in the address bar,   C:Windows/System

3. Click the blue link, "Show Files"

3. Press control+a, then control+x, then reboot your computer
